For a long time, I struggled with using the label, afraid it would define me too narrowly or invite judgment from others. But I’ve realized that words like “lesbian” or “gay” aren’t there to limit us; they’re a way to acknowledge and embrace who we are. It’s not necessary to use labels if you don’t want to, but using the label has allowed me to connect with others in the LGBTQ+ community, like the gorgeous couple @KirstieandChristine 🥰, fostering a sense of belonging I never knew I needed.
